MADLYTICS

Trading Journal FAQ

Answers about pricing, free trial, trade data privacy, and how Madlytics works.

Getting started with Madlytics

Yes — the public plan information lists up to 25 stored trades free, with no credit card required. The free plan includes the journal, position calculator, dashboard, and events calendar. Pro plans add unlimited trade history, advanced analytics, and export tools.

No. The 14-day Pro trial starts without any payment information required. You only need to add payment details if you decide to continue on a paid plan after the trial ends.

After the trial ends, your account automatically moves to the Free plan and you keep all your data.

Your existing trades, notes, and journal entries stay in your account. You won't lose any data — you'll just lose access to Pro-only features unless you upgrade again.

Yes, anytime from your account settings. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, then your account returns to the Free plan. There are no cancellation fees.

Nothing is deleted. Your trade journal and all historical data stay in your account whether you're on a paid plan or not. If you return to the Free plan, access follows those limits, but your data stays available unless you choose to delete your account.

Madlytics calculates dashboard and analytics views from the trade data you enter. Excel can store the same kinds of fields, but formulas, filters, screenshot links, and reports must be maintained in the spreadsheet. Madlytics keeps those review inputs connected in the app.

Madlytics won't make decisions for you or promise results, but it gives you a structured way to understand your trading history.

After enough complete entries, its filters and analytics can help you compare recorded behaviors, setups, and outcomes. Small or incomplete samples can be misleading.

No. You can start with simple trade tracking and add more detail as your review habit grows. Madlytics is designed to be easy at the start, while still giving you deeper analytics as you build more data.

Once you have a consistent sample of logged trades, patterns become easier to review.

Early on, the goal is to build the habit and keep clean data. The insights get clearer as more completed trades are logged.

Pricing, plans and features

Madlytics accepts major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Stripe processes the payment details; Madlytics does not store full card details.

Pro includes unlimited trade storage, advanced analytics, filtering by setup and time period, export tools, and the trade review workflow.

The free plan lets you start logging trades and building habits. Pro gives you more room to review patterns across a larger trade history.

Yes. You can switch between Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly from your account settings. Changes typically take effect at the next billing cycle, and the yearly plan works out to a meaningful discount if you plan to stick with it.

Yes. Pro plan members can export all their trade data in CSV format at any time.

Exporting lets you keep a CSV copy of your trades and use your data outside the platform for custom analysis or personal recordkeeping.

Platform, privacy and regulation

Your trade journal and analytics data are restricted to your account in the product. Madlytics does not sell trading data or use trade activity for advertising. Service providers including Supabase, Stripe, hosting providers, and consent-based analytics support operation of the service. For the exact categories, purposes, and rights, see the Privacy Policy.

Madlytics is intended for self-directed retail or prop traders who can enter their own trade records and want a manual review workflow. This describes the intended audience, not a claim about current customer adoption or trading results.
